Spring House Restoration in Sparks, MD

Pequea Exteriors restored this historic spring house in Sparks, MD, helping bring the structure back to its original character. The existing roof was removed, and portions of the roof system were rebuilt before installing Premium Western Red Cedar shakes. Yellow Alaskan cedar trim boards were also added along the rakes to complete the restoration.

The photos capture the installation in progress. House wrap is still visible on sections awaiting siding, while the completed areas show how the cedar shakes meet the window trim, rooflines, and existing exterior.
